Launched in 2007 in partnership with Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust, Everton in the Community’s mental health football programme ‘Imagine Your Goals’ (IYG) uses football as a therapeutic tool to support individual’s physical, mental, emotional and social health and wellbeing.
The programme integrates football coaching with football themed education workshops to help participants improve their emotional resiliency and boost self-confidence.
